A dog and a puppy sleeping together on a grey couch with a pink striped pillow in the background.

it started with one

One became two. Then four. Now eight… now we lost count!

Cosmo was the first. Toward the end of school, we decided to get Sjosti. “What a fun training partner he’ll be!” Well, after learning how to ski and learning how to ski with a dog, we tried our hand a sledding with our two pups. This is fun, but what if it went faster?

So our pack of two became a pack of four. Skade and Yrsa were a handful as puppies, but they’ve turned out to be great sleddogs. At this point, friends and family want to visit us just to try sledding with the dogs. We thought, what the heck, four doesn’t seem to difficult to manage, what if we add a few more?

We discovered the joy in sharing our experience with others, and started giving tours to others. First friends of friends, then total strangers. Seeing our guests’ eyes light up and laugh like a carefree kid while playing and driving with us and our dogs is why we do this.

Our dogs have always been our family members, which is why we run such a small kennel. They get as much attention, love, and care as any family pet. Our dogs just happen to love adventures out in nature as much as we do.

Meet the pack

Cosmo

The OG. Cosmo was with us since before the beginning. He’s shy around new people but loves scrinches once he gets to know you. He has the strongest will, and if you don’t let him out he’ll do it himself. He sadly left us in July 2025.

Sjosti

The second in command. His personality is bigger than he is - and he’s our biggest dog. Full of life, lots to say, and no sense of personal space. If there’s an inch of space for him to sit next to you, he’ll make sure he fits.

Skade

The princess, but also the drama queen. She’s beautiful and she knows it. She gets away with everything because she knows her puppy eyes will make you forgive her in a second. She talks almost as much as Sjosti, and loves to climb fences as much as she loves to pull.

Yrsa

The wild one. Yrsa knows what she wants and will stop at nothing to get it. Popcorn buried in a couch cushion? She’ll spend hours trying to dig it out. Luckily, what she wants most of all is to run fast and far. She will look for hugs after a long run, though.

DELTA

The shy one. While everyone jumps up on the couch for a movie, she might sit near the door. She loves to play and bother you at night by nibbling on your toe.

IGOR

The big giant. He does not know how big he is. Too big for his own good. Shy and clumsy but loves cuddles as soon as you get to know him. He will trip over his own legs.

kito

The grumpy old man. He demands constant pets, peace, and quiet. He also tippy-taps when he sees something he wants, and lets out the darkest growl you’ve ever heard.

garm

The chonker. One of our three puppies, he was quite rough with his playing, but now he is the biggest cuddler of the three puppies. As soon as you sit down he will jump on your lap.

hugin

The cutest puppy (not biased). She loves to play, but is also happy to sit and watch the others cause mischief. She makes the cutest groans when she relaxes. Has a tiny head for her body size.

LIMA

A bouncy ball. When food or any of us come up to her, she jumps up and down and up and down. Amongst her siblings, she’s the one in charge. Loves to bark as well.

sibbe

The true husky. He is so calm and sweet, but also screams like a banshee. He loves his job, the neighbors six towns over will hear when we harness him!

wanda

The mother hen. Wanda is now our oldest dog and stays home for some of our tours. She is incredibly sweet and paws you until you pet her.

cow

Also known as: Kossan, Tchaikosvky, or Tjatste. He’s our second puppy. All legs, and all attitude. He loves to play, and also isn’t afraid to stand up to the adults when they tell him to stop.
